Great fresh food that fills you right up. Their lunch special is the perfect serving size. Sweet & sour chicken is super crispy and delightful. Usually come by when I don’t feel like cooking and it has always been delicious.
I tried China 3 at the suggestion of a friend who’s a great chef. It’s the typical standard Chinese menu with reasonable prices. Every other aspect of their food is awesome. My reluctance with most of these places is the overuse of oil. I ordered a standard - shrimp with mixed vegetables. Cooked to tenderness, seasoned perfectly and zero oil residue. The rice was cooked to tenderness also. The friendliness and overall appearance of cleanliness was a deal closer for me. Best to order in advance so if you walk in and place an order be patient. I like that they cook one order at a time to keep it good! Update 3/08/25 this place is so consistently good it’s incredible. I had my usual again - shrimp with mixed vegetables. I should mention it’s takeout here. Also I read some reviews that complain about their fried food. I never order deep fried from China 3 but honestly why would someone expect great french fries from a Chinese restaurant?
It's just a little hole in the wall, but MAN, can they cook! Like everybody, I've got my favorites but they're consistently delicious! Eating food from there is always a treat. I feel like our town is blessed to have them!
Im the type of person who likes to try every Chinese restaurant in my area to find the best. China III has absolutely the best food courses you could ask for. The service is better than most Chinese restaurants, where they're rushing you on the phone to the point you can barely understand them. When calling China III, not only are they not rushing you off the phone, but they're understandable and get your order correct every time! As far as atmosphere, they're a takeout place only. I wish you could dine in there, but you can choose whatever condiments you want because they have them right there for you to throw into your bag. Very nice! Awesome place. A must try if you haven't and want to take home and relax. 100% Thumbs up.
Honestly I've tried everywhere in the Poconos I'm 45 I love Chinese cuisine this is by far and it's not even close the best tasting food in the entire Poconos this is a GEM.

The food is amazing, but it's take out only. I wish they did delivery or were on door dash or grub hub at least. I'd absolutely be ordering from them WAY more often if I didn't have to pick it up.
Quick, hot, and tasty food. I've had better but I have definitely had worse. Good prices and convenient. For the Poconos this is a 5 star gourmet food establishment. Even more importantly, my wife is vegan and they always accommodate her no matter what she requests of them when preparing her meal. For that alone( happy wife, happy life ) I should probably give them 5 stars, but I always like giving these places room to grow.
